D2A Teamspeak
D2A uses a voice program called "Teamspeak" to communicate with each other through real time audio while playing various games together. Teamspeak greatly enhances your gaming experience (especially in competitive games) by allowing you to communicate important information in a timely manner. While this is it's greatest benefit to our clan, it's also helpful for getting to know your fellow clan members on a more personal level by putting a voice with a name. Below is a basic walkthrough for logging in to the D2A Teamspeak server for the first time and getting registered.
1. Download the latest client version of Teamspeak. You can do this at www.teamspeak.org
2. After you have installed and executed the program, click on the "Connections" tab at the top left and select "Connect" (not quick connect)
3. After selecting "Connect" another window should pop up on your screen with the word "Servers" in the white area to the left. Right click on "Servers" and choose "Add Server". When you do this a text area will appear under "Servers" in which you can name your server. In this case just name it "D2A".
4. Now you should see several blank areas on the right hand side. Enter the information as shown in the picture below. The "Password" you will have to obtain from other members in game or via private message in the forums.
5. Be sure to choose your own personal nickname in that field so that everyone will know who is talking. (It's best to use the name of your in game character) Also be sure that "Anonymous" is checked as opposed to "Registered". Once you have done that and entered the password the clan gave you just click on "Connect" at the bottom of the screen.
6. Once you are connected, find someone with a (SA) beside their name and they will make sure you get registered with the teamspeak server and find your way to the channel where your fellow clan mates are playing.
